Salzburg for “beginners”

Are you new in town or visiting here for the first time? Do you want to get an overview of how this city “works”, where you can eat and drink well, what is “worth seeing”. Do you want to know how this city became what it is today?

I'll walk with you through the right and left old town and we'll see everything you "should have seen". I'll tell you stories about the people who have lived here over the centuries and those who live here today.

The tour takes you from Mirabell Palace over the “Liebesschlössersteg”, over Getreidegasse to Mozart’s birthplace. You get to know the oldest coffee house in the city, where Mozart drank his coffee.

Mozartkugeln as a souvenir are a must - but which are the original Mozartkugeln - who invented them? And why are the people of Salzburg called “bull washers”?

These and many other mysteries will be solved on this tour.
